How learning music through movement impacts instrumental learning in the early years
Project description
Using motion capture technology, we will seek to discover how kinesthetic learning [movement], when integrated with early instrumental learning [e.g., flute] can change the landscape of development and learning the skills of an instrument at an early age. The structure of this research will draw from the pedagogical worlds of Suzuki, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Laban, and Integrative Education.
